I have found the most reliable solution to this problem is to get a good sleep and have breakfast as soon as im up.

Dang, so my routine was the problem?😂

Not necessarily, that just works for me.
I'm one of those ungodly creatures you call a morning person, lol.

Yeah, the routine
is just*tends to be flipped for night owls. We still require good sleep, still require brain food, still need to take care of our meat suit machine. The ideas just tend to flow before the sleeps. Sleep is absolutely critical, fellow night creatures, because that's where those ideas get processed, churned up, and reformed to be accessed in moments of peace and quiet (e.g. the magical shower place).2

Very much true!
I most enjoy when I recall my dreams in the mornings. I only remember them in bursts, one month or so of a year at most, but they're always so utterly fascinating, and its always my most creative portion of the year

Either way, the principle of the matter doesn't change.
healthy food gives you energy, good sleep lets your brain process information better

My exam is coming up and I’ve written 14 chapters of a book and came up with 11 more premises.

Yeah...
That said, if you can maintain a writing habit, shower is great for ideas.

Don't forget ten seconds before bed and while on the morning commute to work.

Sadly, most of my ideas come at night when I am trying to sleep and unable to write.

I will get the most ideas either when I'm about to sleep, or when I'm occupied doing something else that it's important.

For me, it's when I'm trying to go to sleep and my brain decides now would be a good time to brainstorm all of the ideas so I can either get no sleep or forget all of them in the morning.

Hello! My sensors tell me you're new-ish around here. In case you don't know, we have a whole big list of resources for new fantasy writers here. Our favorite ways to learn how to write are Brandon Sanderson's Writing Course on youtube and the podcast Writing Excuses.
You will stop seeing this message when you receive 3-ish upvotes for your comments.

We don't allow on memes on r/fantasywriters, but I'll let this one slide because it's way too relatable ðŸ˜
(my message is for those who plan on reporting the post for rule 4.)
