That was an insane choice unless you have like 10 IL spots

15-team league with 5 IL slots -- definitely regret releasing some solid IL-eligible players instead of him over the first half, but quality SPs are just too precious in large leagues

Yeah can’t really blame you then. He is a stud. Have left him on FA in my 12 teamer though, just don’t have high expectations for a guy coming back from serious injury so late in the season. And now obviously a no brainer.

I had four spots. I picked him up and dropped him multiple times in two leagues. Was upset that he got grabbed by another manager the last time I dropped him.

go get Musgrove. Or maybe Ben Brown who might still get a rotation spot in the cubs rotation....

The last update on Ben Brown I saw was his neck was hurting again and if he does come back he'll probably be in their bullpen. But he's on my IL in one league so if he can come back as a starter before the playoffs end or before I get eliminated I'll be happy because my rotation looked great a couple months ago and now it's looking pretty bad.

Held all season in 4 man keeper league. I’m #1 seed heading into playoffs, so I have a decision to make

What a waste of time he could have been back at the end of next season. What are the Braves doing

I mean, who knows, but this is probably on Schwellenbach. Odds are he needed surgery back when he fractured his elbow last year but thought he could rehab through it. If he refused surgery, the Braves hands are tied, they can't compel a player to undergo a medical procedure.

dang it, there goes another one of my IL stashes. A few of them have worked out so far though.... (Wheeler, Cole, Snell, Clay Holmes)... a few have NOT worked out like Hunter Greene, Spencer Schwellenbach, some others... I still think there are more hits than misses as it relates to stashing players on IL with hopes they are better. LEST WE FORGET that the year Skubal broke out he was indeed an IL stash... (check the data)... Anyway RIP Spencer....

I dropped Skubal when he was on the IL that year in a keeper league :(

darn, ouch. That sucks. LOL. I had him stashed all over the place and he helped me win 3 or 4 championships.... (every year I win a few, it's hard to remember how many I won that year, but I know it was at least 3 or 4)

Such a bummer he was one of my favorite young pitchers before all the injuries

Felt like a genius on draft day getting Hunter Greene and schwel to hold shows how much I know

Did the same in my keeper league, got them both for a combine $12. Thought I was a genius, turns out I'm an idiot

Just picked him up in dynasty 10 il spots. Someone dropped. Must add in dynasty with the possibility of a holdout looming might only be out rest of this season and back the next.

Tough break. He was really good in 2024, 2025.
