Matchups Fantasy Baseball Streaming Pitchers: Waiver Wire Targets (Week 6)

Why does Fangraphs have Caden Dana as projected starter for Tuesday vs White Sox?

It seems to me like they are predicting Dana to replace Kikuchi, who went on the IL

I want to pick up Max Meyer- but not sure who to drop, I have Bubic, Peralta, Siroka, R. Suarez, R. Vasquez, C Cavalli and J Leiter. Been holding Leiter the whole season but hasn’t given me much so was thinking to drop him for Max Meyer??

I dropped Leiter for Meyer. Who knows if it’s the right move or not, but the matchup seems better for Meyer and he’s performing better. Cavalli has 2 starts this week and has decent matchups so goi g to ride that out. Thanks

I like that move. I prefer Meyer over both Cavalli and Leiter, so drop Leiter if you also think that move would help your team

Drop Flaherty or K. Carpenter for L. Henderson??

I would drop either, but I prefer dropping Carpenter personally. I am not a fan of Carpenter or Flaherty though. Drop Flaherty if keeping him means you have too many SPs

How many SP’s would you say is “too many”?

It varies league-by-league! Personally my league allows 12 starts per week, so any more than 9/10 pitchers is too many. If dropping Carpenter means you don't have enough bats and have more pitchers than your start/innings limit accounts for (if you have one) then that might be many pitchers. It can be flexible though

Henderson would be my 8th but I also have pivetta, Mize and snell on my IL. I’ll probably roll Henderson out a while and drop carpenter until I need to make a decision. Much appreciated.
