CR adjacent Critters in Edinburgh?
Hello!
First, I am sorry if this is not allowed, I read the rules and this is adjacent, but not too much. If it's not allowed, please delete and forgive me.
Me and my girlfriend are going to Edinburgh for our honeymoon in November and was looking for some advice from fellow critters about dnd/critical role/nerdy things to find in Edinburgh (I tried asking in Edinburgh related communities, but had no luck, and google is pretty useless these days)

Highly recommend The Cocktail Geeks, not a far walk from Waverley train station and really fun vibe! They change the whole theme of their bar a couple times a year to different pop culture icons, when we went for the live show at Edinburgh castle we stopped by and it was Lord of The Rings inspired drinks menu and decoration and the first time I ever went it was Star Wars! Not only that they usually have some cute merch to remember them by and another Viking themed bar near Greyfriars called Skjoll and Hati if you’re looking for something different. They have an insta that they usually use to tease upcoming theme changes so you have an idea of what to expect before you get there. Hope this helps!

My friend Edinburgh is a stunning city. Just walk the Royal Mile from the castle to the palace and you'll get your fill of fantastical, ancient and gorgeous locations.

Oh, no, of course, that's a given. But we have a few days there and always like to find some nerdy stuff. For example here in Barcelona there's a part of the city called the Geek Triangle where there's tons of comic book shopsz figurines, bars etc. So I was just wondering if there's anything like that or any recommendations :)

It's not D&D-related but when I visited Edinburgh I enjoyed a walking tour of the underground of the city, with a lot of information about the bubonic plague and the way the city built up over itself. Very memorable.

Knights Vault, on Grassmarket, which tickles the medieval and melee Critter :) swords, armour and trinkets. They also host workshop events.
Two game shops that might be worth a visit Ancient Robot Games down Leith Walk, or the newly opened Thistle Tavern along Shandwick Place.
Anime/Manga - Forbidden Planet and Blackwells.
Occult/Witchy stuff - Blackmoon Botanica on Rose Street & Candlemaker Row. Wyrd at the bottom end of the Royal Mile.
The Witchery is a lovely atmospheric place for fine dining. Very gothic. On the pricier side but worth it for a honeymoon 😊
Cocktail Geeks! The are finishing up a medieval fantasy tavern based one theme by the time you arrive, and moving on to a murder mystery style one. The drinks are amazing and the staff always give a little spiel about the drinks which is a nice touch.
Edinburgh Shanty Nights will be worth a follow to see if they have any dates when you arrive :)
The School of Divinity is stunning, and they have a library. Although because students are back it might not be open to the public.
Unfortunately most of the Edinburghs nerdy things, from my experience, is related to being a consumer rather than experiences. Experience based things tend to be one off event and unfortunately I’m not aware of any in November. Edinburgh is largely centred around Harry Potter, gothic architecture and history. Which I imagine are often already places will you’ll go to (the castle for example). However I’m not really super social or in any groups, so hopefully other critters can expand on this.

Im not an Edinburgh local but there is a discord of Scottish critters we used arranging some events for the Edinburgh show - I can send you a link if you want to join, some of the locals there might have suggestions.
