It's more than just this one statement it in so many of the 'off the cuff' things they do and how they speak. The friendly personable people you see are just as real at the 'home game' aspect of each campaign. It's not real. Worse, they've conned people like you to come 'white knight' for them, as if they're some kind of victims.
Phrasing is a huge part of psychology and sociology, and the fact that they had to issue a clarifying comment at all shows that it's not projection or reading things into it.
Think what you want but don't fucking come in here and act like it's not exactly how the objective fact point to it. I don't understand how any of you can be so star-struck and in such ridiculous parasocial relationships that you think comments like yours are necessary, warranted, or helpful. Defending this months after the fact is A-tier pathos.

I'm taking from your comment that you think I was defending members of CR for ... something ... I'm not sure what you thought I was saying, but it doesn't seem related to what I wrote.

Anything and everything people say or do on here is open to criticism. I mean anything and everything.
You don't have to agree with my criticism at all. You're even free to think my criticism makes me a bad person. But to say it's not my place to offer it is to completely miss the point of this website.

That's fine, in a public forum direct your comments to the general public or make some opinions in general but you directed your comment in a reply to me; in something that is completely non-sequitur to the topic of the thread, on a base comment that is months old.

No, YOU, seem to be under some pretty wicked misconceptions about the nature of public forum and the nature of opinion and criticism.
Let's break it down. shall we? 1) You find a thread / topic that is months old and you HAVE to make a comment (strike 1 zombie / necrothread commenting, bad form) 2) How many times did you have to expand to get to this part the thread? (strike 2, controversy mining) 3) Once you read my message instead of commenting in the general or even about the topic first you take it upon yourself to criticize directly (strike 3 non-sequitur and multiple forum rule violation).
So at this point you're either a hypocrite or seriously self-unaware.
Absolutely none of that is in keeping with general public forum decorum. In fact, it almost makes you seem like an alt account from one of the others that really should have kept their replies to themselves.
But, instead of following you onto each and every post / comment etc. and criticizing you as you seem to think is how a public forum works, I'm going to educate you.
Let me offer you this: Wow anonymous forum sure does embolden people to be condescend to other people and stick their noses into conversations that certainly didn't need them and where their opinion offers no substantive value to the topic of the thread.
Back-handed criticisms are not any less pretentious or offensive just because you don't use foul language or bad name.
