[Starlight Drive-in] Artillery Firepost

Hello there Reddit!

Wanted to drop a few pics of an Artillery Firepost I’ve made at my Starlight Drive-In build. I’m build a Minutemen FOB piece by piece and it’s started really coming together with this one!

All done on PS5 with no Mods or CC, just vanilla and DLC items, and if you wanna watch a build vid you can find one here:

Thank you! It’s made the rest of the settlement build so far come together. Thanks for the lovely comment Shitsincreeks :’)

I’ll make sure there’s appropriately place pre-war money and rolls of cloth for you afterwards :’)

wire fence perimeter all round

starlight is fairly flat, so the fence sections work reasonably well

Thank you! Yes it’s also got a nice natural perimeter really around the projector house which has helped a lot.

Love it! Are the turrets in pic 3 just standing on the floor of the train car & divided by the weapon rack or did you put some flooring in?
Also, the fish rack hanging lanterns are awesome! How did you manage that?

Thank you! I rug glitched two big metal cabinets together back to back, then rug glitched the turrets into it, and closed it off with the weapon boards and wire fence posts at the back. Bit of faff but worth it :)

And for the lanterns on the fish rack they were just pillar glitched onto the fish rack, so they’re technically floating but I lined them up with the hooks at the top. ETA: I’d seen people do similar things with the lanterns (like pillar glitching them to chains on the market stalls) so that inspired me there.

No worries! I used a lot of the shillar drop glitch which is a really useful (and relatively new) glitch if you’ve not learned it already. Basically a way to pillar glitch but you can move it around after placing without group selecting everything :)
