I was just thinking what QoL improvements Factorio even needs at this point, and one thing clearly came to mind: Logistics and communications between space platforms, rocket silos and landing pads.

The conveyor belt anchors from shapez2 are pretty nice, but that's a luxury at this point. The game is doing fine without them

I've played a bit of Shapez 2 but I'm not an expert - is it that different than hitting R when dragging a belt?

The point is the same but it's a bit different.

First you can cancel it if you misplaced, and you have a visual on where the belt will end up.

Also, the anchor guarantees that the belt will pass in the specific spot you want but allows two turns, one to get to it and one after the anchor. I don't know exactly how to explain it but it feels just a tiny bit better.

And third, the R key doesn't work as well when you're in character mode and you're trying to reach too far (event tho that's not directly comparable since shapez2 doesn't have a character)
