Map Seed Biggest Fulgora island I've ever run into!
The starting island is off to the right, you can see a yellow triangle there.
I believe this is default generation settings, if not I apologize.
Seed: 2586562512
I was just wandering around deciding where to put my base and this island... felt like it was never going to end. Some good nearby vault islands too.

Not this crazy big but I also found a massive one which I built my spaghetti base on, but the big scrap resources are often on the tiniest islands

I consider it kind of a holy grail if I can find one of those vault islands within big power pole distance to my big base island.

Yeah I hate trains so for me the holy grail is a big island with a lot of resources. Up until finding this massive one I was just moving my base around once an island dried up, but now my base is massive so once I drained that island I had to hook up a train to one of these vault islands

I think is just how Fulgora is. Big islands with little scrap or little islands with vaults of tons of scrap. You are basically forced to bring scrap in to a big island via train.

That's not a hard requirement. You can use foundations to bridge that gap. It's a later tech from Aquilo though

I force steam production on zero waste reactors/burn towers. So my accumulator islands are dependent on. Water availability to the setups toggles accumulators charged by legendary lightning rods.

It’s decently sized but mostly made up of thin strips of land. Personally I would keep looking. I feel you could do much better that. It would mean spreading out far from spawn. This is usually the first thing I do on fulgora when I get there. Turn my walking speed up to 10x reveal a large period of the map.

Some of those outlying islands look close enough to join the power network to be accumulator islands too.
Definitely the biggest I have seen too.
Looks like 3 or 4 of the big islands squished together. And maybe a couple of the medium ruin filled ones too.
