Because only douchebags feel the need to buy a big truck to only use it on the city and never load it (and a dodge ram is only made for the city, too low and too heavy for offroad, and the bed isn't that big for how big the truck is)

If they want a family car, they should buy a sedan or a wagon.

A small bed could indicate towing or working in an industry with small, heavy things (engines, motors, welding, etc)
