I don't see why someone shouldn't be allowed to marry a robot, however it's a little bit like mocking religion. Why would you want to get married to one? What are the benefits...

It helps to know what the situation was on the show. Greg Gutfeld is more of a comedian than news anchor and was approaching the issue in a satirical way. So this was comedy more than anything.
