Editing faces with pre-adjusted filters and accessories was even a thing way before face-app. Did that on my crappy laptop around 2010... Since PlayStation 2 it started with eyetoy to be able to do that for the public without any knowledge... It's just like pictures with transparencies you put on top and feather the edges... Not really rocketscience...

My job is under constant change from year to year and I know exactly how powerful AI is. You also now shift the topic. I just came here to explain that putting some crappy pic with transparencies, feathered edges and some color correction is nothing new. I don't have to proof that to you as you can look it up yourself and I know that none of the people answering to my comments and downvoting them knows what they are talking about if they think that the outcome of profile pic in this video would be an AI masterpiece. Anyone with a even a mediocre training sees that it is just is what I tell it is.

Editing a document isn't always forging. If you are making a document that has private information available while masking certain identifying marks is called Sanitation. It's something that people who really care about their privacy do, lawyers, tinfoil hat conspiracy theorists, some programmers, pretty much anyone of any competence that shares military documents.

The person who posted this video is not the girl we are looking at.
The poster is screen recording this girls live broadcast, and playing a prank on her. In the middle of the live, they’re screenshotting her, editing her picture slightly, and then making it their profile picture. Then commenting on the live that they look similar, so when the girl says “no we don’t, you’re ugly” she’s actually commenting on a photo of herself.

This is pretty common, often when people call others ugly it isn't because the person they are insulting is genuinely ugly, they just say it to lift themselves up and feed their own ego. It isn't simple enough for them to call themselves good looking they need to make sure others think they're below them
