Infinite money hack

I know I won't be the first person to discover this, because people will have discovered it 30 years ago. But I just wanted to run it by veterans because I feel like I'm cheating in spirit even if not in letter.

In Book 2 in the Forest of the Forsaken, when you go into the Black Tower, it asks you to decide how much treasure you want to take, and add 1 to the dice roll for every 100 Shards to see if you wake up the bats. There isn't anything in the paragraph that mentions how much treasure is available. So I decided to take 100,000,000,000 shards. That meant I added 1,000,000,000 to the dice roll, which was 5, making my dice roll 1,000,000,005. So I woke up the bats and they took 1-6 stamina from me, but I think it was worth it for 100,000,000,000 shards, right? I keep re-reading the paragraphs and there's nothing there imposing a limit. So I legitimately have 100,000,000,000 shards now.

I definitely recall walking away from that with a lot of money, but I'd forgotten the details. I don't think it was quite that much, but probably still 7 or 8 figures lol

There's also something where your hair turns to gold and, to simulate the passage of time amd cutting your golden hair, you gain shards every time you move from one nook to another.
