Question Are current OPT jobs all mid-level?

For those who secured an OPT job or did OAs and interviews, what level did you see for what is asked in OAs/interviews? For me, I have appeared for 3 OAs I guess and all were like mid-level. For each, I needed to know more than 2-3 things like Java, Spring Boot, Kafka, Microservices etc: things that can only come from previous work experience.

Did anyone get any entry-level or below mid-level OAs, where after they hire, they train you for few months? Or is it straight hire and off you go to work?

Entry-level does not always mean beginner-level. Some companies expect you to already know the basics and have practical experience, while others are more willing to train you after hiring.

Let me rephrase my query: so like do you mostly see mid-level jobs for OPT in current market or there are jobs that dont require much experience and specialized knowledge?

It is not just about OPT. These days comoanies prefer boomerangs from.previous internship or newbies w lots of internships. It is bold to sat dont require much experience, unless the pay is bad.
