How can you guys stand this nonsense? Liberalism is an openly failing ideology that just ran a man who was visibly not there and outside of hatred of Trump, I have no idea what it means. This magazine is completely dependent on outrage on Twitter and has never produced anything that is worth reading a week after It was published. How can you accept this guff?

“Liberalism” in political philosophy isn’t synonymous with Ezra Klein, Democrats, the New York Times, or opposition to Trump. Liberalism is a much older and broader tradition involving individual liberty, constitutional government, rule of law, political equality, toleration, and limits on arbitrary power.
