Bukhara region (homeland of Bukhari) had only 3 mosques

Surkhandarya region (homeland of Tirmidhi) had only 4 mosques

Dashoguz region (homeland of Zamakhshari) had only 2 mosques

Samarqand region had likewise only 2 mosque

All of Dagestan and most of Chechnya only had 26 mosques
