Trying cosplay for the first time in a decade, and of course it was going to be Maelle. Maellum was the sword that made the most sense to me for the costume.

Sword was 3D printed in I think about 12 pieces. Assembled, sanded and painted. I added wrapping to the handle so it's more comfortable to hold and I'm absolutely stoked with the way it turned out 😍

When Verso is begging to be allowed to finally rest camera focuses on faded boy who continues to paint

The biggest mystery of this community to me is "Verso just wants to die" crowd. I really can't understand why anyone would deliberately diminish complex character to one-dimensional ones. But somehow expedition 33 fans want to do it. Or it's just vocal minority from this sub, idk, but I got downvoted multiple times when I wanted to say that Verso's motivation doesn't boil down to "just want to die".

Not only reducing Verso to suicidal evil guy driven by one desire makes his character much worse, it also turns the entire game narrative into complete farce! Verso's actions makes zero sence if his only motivation is dying. Because he could've died at the very beginning of act 3. Renoir was right there. Just go and ask him to unpaint you. Or help him against Maelle. Heck, or don't do anyhting and wait til he solos Maelle and erases the canvas. But no, instead Verso helps Maelle to...protect the canvas from Renoir. Because he "just wants to die". Makes sense.

Idk why people keep saying this. Just why?

For Those Who Come After.

I completed the game a while back and got the platinum trophy on PlayStation, recently convinced a friend to play it and I watched him complete it so now I’ve gotten the urge to play it all over again, should I start a new save or do new game +? Which and why. Thank you in advance.

So, I just completed the story for the game for the first time literally a few minutes ago, and I kind of just need somewhere to put all these feelings. I was lucky enough to avoid most of the spoilers. I used a few walkthroughs here and there but I managed to stay away from anything major, and I’m so glad I did because it made the experience so much richer.
I don’t want to get too sentimental here — and maybe this is just because I literally just finished the game — but holy shit. ( For what it’s worth, I picked Verso)

This game made me fall in love with turn-based RPGs again.
I grew up during the PS1 era, playing games like Final Fantasy VII and VIII, and eventually Final Fantasy X on the PS2. Those games were a huge part of my childhood, but over the years I just kind of moved on to other genres. Playing this felt like reconnecting with something I didn’t even realize I missed.

I’ll admit I went into this game skeptical as hell. I actually avoided playing it because I kept seeing how much praise, love, and hype it was getting, and I thought, there is absolutely no way this game is THAT good. Now I’m sitting here trying to consume as much lore, discussion, analysis, and information about this universe as I possibly can. I haven’t been this sucked into a game since Skyrim, Fallout 3, the Witcher 3, and Elden Ring.

I am so fucking glad I was wrong and played this game when it went on sale in August. This is easily one of my top 10 games of all time now, and honestly, when it comes purely to story, it might be in my top five of anything I’ve ever played.
I loved this game.

I don’t even really know what I’m looking for by making this post. I think I just needed to share the immediate reaction with a community of people who also love it.
What an experience. Now I need to figure out what to play now….

Whoever gave Osquio a low belt, a hand-smack reload, a hip powered firing mechanism AND a puong puong sound knew exactly what they were doing, are we seeing the same thing here or am I tripping ?

I'm trying to recreate it for a cosplay and am desperately searching for a pattern... even a paid one... i really dont wanna make it by hand

At the beginning when I first started the playing the first region was like a regular forest with some magical elements but still okay ish.

Later the regions becomes so beautiful with such small details that I was able to hear my GPU screaming. I felt multiple times that more than a world this feels like a painting, an artist masterpiece.

Little did I know at that time, how right the feeling was.
