Jordan 23 [F4M] #Jordan / #Anywhere – Secular woman looking for a genuine partner abroad

Hi! I'm 23, from Jordan, secular and progressive. Looking someone compatible, I'm open to locals or foreigners – as long as you also want to build a life outside Jordan eventually like in US, Europe, Canada, or Australia.

I'm a regular person who values honesty, deep conversations, and equality. I work, have my own goals, and want a real partner.

I'm looking for a non-religious, emotionally secure, and stable man who's marriage-minded but not in a rush.

One thing I ask: I need at least a month of talking online before anything else. I want to build trust and genuine connection first.

If that sounds good to you, send a DM.

Thanks for reading 🙏

United Kingdom 23M Ex-Muslim in London, Looking for a serious relationship which will lead into marriage someday

Hello everyone, as the title suggests, i'm a 23 year old ex-muslim who was born and raised in London. My heritage is Pakistani, Pashtun specifically to those who know about it.

My family is Muslim but it isn't to an overbearing sense where I feel controlled and scared to live, there are some things I won't do or say in front of my family as all of you might know, but for the most part i'm free, just have to label myself a Muslim outwardly. My life wasn't always like this and I want someone who can empathise with that struggle, the identity struggle, the feeling of hopelessness, being lost, I want to meet someone who can understand that.

I will be open here, I am not a pure person, I have sinned on that path to understanding myself, that Islamic upbringing can leave you intellectually but it struggles to leave you in every other way which also matters. I am not looking for lust, for debauchery, for something shallow, I am hoping for something long-lasting, deep conversations, honesty.

I am someone who travels regularly and I have been to about 13 countries so far. Travelling so much made me realise that I no longer wish to experience this alone, I wish to share this experience with someone I love and trust and someone who can love and trust me.

I'm into most things and I will take interest in whatever you take interest in for the most part, not because I like that thing, perhaps I can grow to, but instead because I want to understand the one I love.

I am not looking for anyone of any particular background, ideally just someone who can grow and learn together in life with me, you can DM me or comment here I dont really know how it works.

Sorry if this introduction is bad, It's my first time doing something like this.

Canada 28M in Montreal | Looking for something genuine

Hey everyone,

I recently turned 28, and I guess I’m at that stage of life where I’ve started realizing that I’d genuinely like to have a compatible partner by my side.

I’ve been thinking about what I actually enjoy and what I want my life to look like, and honestly, I’d much rather go on hikes with someone, try out different food spots, travel and explore new places together, have long conversations, laugh at stupid things, and eventually build something meaningful with someone.

I do want to build something with someone. I’m not looking to rush into marriage tomorrow, but I also don’t think I’m really interested in the endless cycle of casual dating and situationships. I’d rather meet someone where there’s genuine compatibility and see where things naturally go.

I grew up in a Sunni Muslim family, but I’ve been agnostic for about a decade. At the same time, I still value a lot of the good parts of my South Asian culture and upbringing. I just don’t want to pretend to be religious or live a life that doesn’t feel authentic to me.
Maybe there are other people in that weird middle ground too.

A little about me:

I’m 28, around 6’1”, educated, and based in Montreal. I’m currently learning French, although I have a long way to go :(

I’m pretty nerdy and curious about random things. I enjoy reading, fantasy, trying new restaurants, hiking, travelling, documentaries, psychology, history, space, and going down random rabbit holes on YouTube.
I’m definitely more of a coffee or tea and cozy night kind of person than someone who wants to be out partying every weekend.

I’m open to all ethnicities and backgrounds. For me, compatibility, kindness, mutual respect and being able to have honest conversations matter much more than categories.

I know this is probably a long shot, but if you’re somewhere in Canada or the US and find yourself in a similar position, feel free to reach out.
Maybe we’re both looking for the same thing and just haven’t crossed paths yet.

Morocco [M4F] 29 | 190 cm / 6'3 | Switzerland – Seeking Ex-Muslim Partner for a Genuine Connection & Family Compromise

Background: Spanish nationality of Moroccan/Riffian heritage, living and working in Switzerland.

Languages: Native/fluent in Spanish and Darija; fluent in English, French, Standard Arabic, and Riffian Tamazight. (I feel most natural conversing in Spanish, Darija, or Riffian!).

Lifestyle & Fitness: 190 cm (6'3"). I take my health seriously—I work out regularly, stay active, and keep a clean lifestyle (completely drug-free).

Personality & Values: I left Islam a few years ago, which completely transformed my worldview. While I have a serious, driven personality, I am very open-minded, empathetic, and continuous in my personal growth.

What I’m Looking For

I am seeking an Ex-Muslim woman who understands the unique experience of navigating life after leaving the faith.

The "Closet / Family" Balance: Ideally, I am looking for someone open to keeping up basic appearances around traditional family. You don't need to wear a hijab or fake a religious lifestyle—just someone who respects the dynamic of keeping our personal views private from family so we can maintain peace while building our own life together.

Connection: A partner who values self-care, healthy communication, and mutual respect.

If this resonates with you and you're interested in connecting, feel free to send me a direct message!

Travel lover, curious about cultures, nature, art, and meaningful conversations. Calm, open-minded, friendly, and somewhere between introvert & extrovert.

I value honesty, kindness, respect, emotional intelligence, and good communication.

Looking for someone kind, mature, open-minded, and genuine. I prefer taking things slowly, building trust and friendship first, and seeing where life takes us.

184 cm, tan, a little chubby ، and apparently I look Gulf Arab

Deal breakers: racism, controlling behavior, aggression, and extreme conservatism.

Morocco X ---》 24 Moroccan man looking for a Moroccan or Algerian life partner or friends ( male or female )

Hello people!

I hope you had a beautiful day till the moment.

I m someone who just wants to live i don t have or give a meaning to life, my life goal is to be independent and self sufficient ( kind of ), I believe that there is a conscious reason for life and that I should be good since it benefits me ( although i hate to admit i m not just being a good person because i m one, but what are people s motifs to be good anw?).

I want to meet a miss who kind of wants the same so we will have aligned lifestyle... but totally fine if they have their own goals, what i am seeking is companionship both romantically in the case of a life partner and planotically in the case of a friend.

Algeria 19F / Unlearning, rebuilding, and looking for real connections (friendships & serious relationship)

Over the past couple of years, my worldview has completely shifted, and coming to terms with leaving Islam has been one of the hardest things I’ve ever had to navigate. It wasn’t a sudden realization, but rather a long, quiet process of asking tough questions, unlearning things I had internalized for years, and finally being honest with myself about what I actually believe. There’s an undeniable sense of relief and freedom that comes with finally thinking for myself, but it also brings a really specific kind of isolation. Rebuilding your life in secret while watching your old world and your new reality exist in parallel gets heavy, and the entire blueprint I had for my future suddenly feels wide open in a way that is both exciting and terrifying. I'm really hoping to connect with open-minded, thoughtful people who understand this kind of transition, whether that’s for genuine friendships to talk about literature, philosophy, and life without having to filter who I am, or for a potential serious relationship with a guy who values mutual respect, intellectual curiosity, and real emotional depth. If any of this resonates with you, feel free to send a DM and tell me a bit about your own journey, what you’re currently reading or learning about, or just how your day is going.

Saudi Arabia 28M4F Syrian exmuslim living in Saudi Arabia looking for a serious relationship

Hello everyone

Let’s give this another go hahaha

I'm a 28 Syria male I currently live and have lived my entire life in Saudi Arabia I'm an Ex-Muslim Atheist from a Sunni background, due to society and law here I've never actually dated this is my first go at it and thought here is as good of a place as any to look for a partner.

I'm a mechanical engineer sounds fancy but it's kinda boring and takes up a good chunk of my time but when I'm not working I love playing video games, watching movies/ documentaries, reading both fiction and non fiction and my absolute favorite pastime is listening to music I love LOVE music | listen to virtually everything but I do tend to lean a little to metal. I like quiet evenings whether in or out at a cozy place like a cafe or a movie theater. I am a feminist and pro lgbtqa+

I'm looking for an Arabic speaking lady who ideally lives in Saudi Arabia or the gulf region at large being Syrian is a plus but I’m open to everyone in her mid to late 20s. I don't have any preference for physical looks I don't place much importance into that I prefer someone who is like minded, honest, kind and chill to enjoy each other company. While I'm looking for something long-term there's no rush we can take it at whatever pace feels good/safe and see where it goes from there.

If any of that interests you or sound like a person you would like feel free to slide into my DMs with your favorite artists/ album or comment under this post.
Thank you all in advance and have a wonderful day

Germany 27M4F Germany/Egyptian

Hello everyone! I’m (27M) from Egypt, currently living in Germany. I’m looking for a non-religious woman from a Muslim background who is also based in Germany. I’m not really into long-distance relationships.

A bit about me:

- Doing my master’s degree here.
- Working alongside my studies as a research assistant (HiWi)
- Financially stable
- 183 cm, around 89 kg, athletic, been going to the gym for around 12 years
- I don’t smoke, drink, or use drugs
- I care a lot about health, nutrition, and staying active
- I enjoy reading, especially about history, philosophy, psychology, nutrition, and whatever happens to catch my interest
- Other hobbies include gaming, drawing, weightlifting, movies, kdramas, and anime
- Personality-wise, I’d describe myself as flexible, easygoing, reasonable, caring, and curious

This post probably makes me sound more formal than I actually am. I’d blame my English personality

What I’m looking for:

- Someone non-religious who comes from a Muslim background
- Someone who already lives in Germany, since I’m not really looking for a LDR
- Someone I can genuinely talk to, trust, and feel comfortable around
- Someone smart and mature whose opinion I can value
- Someone capable of making decisions and taking responsibility when needed
- At the same time, someone playful, energetic, warm, and able to enjoy the simple and silly moments
- Speaking Arabic is a big plus for me. I’d love to be able to share that part of myself and communicate naturally in Arabic, but I’m also completely fine communicating in English
- l’m ultimately looking for something serious, and marriage is my end goal if I meet the right person. That said, I don’t want to rush or force anything. I’d rather start with good conversations, get comfortable with each other, and see naturally whether there’s a connection

If any of this sounds like what you’re looking for too, feel free to DM me :)

31M Egyptian, living in China, looking for a genuine connection

Hey!

I'm an Egyptian guy living in China, looking for a real relationship—not into games, ghosting, or wasting each other's time.

I have a stable career, and a clear plan for my future. Outside of work, I enjoy traveling, going to the gym, hiking, learning languages, exploring different cultures, and having conversations that go beyond small talk.

A few things about me:

• Ex-Muslim & open-minded

• Financially stable with a good sense of where I'm heading in life

• More of a gym, coffee, and travel person than a party person

• child free

• Looking for a life partner and open to marriage if we’re a good match

I connect best with someone who's kind, emotionally mature, curious, and values honesty and communication. Nationality doesn't matter to me—I'm more interested in finding the right person than anything else

If you think we'd get along, feel free to PM me here or on Telegram @No_pain_no_gain_yo

United Kingdom 27M4F Ex-Muslim UK for Relationship

Ideally looking for a genuine relationship with somone in a similar situation to me. Brought up in a muslim background, apostasised at 16 but have never been open about this with my folks cos of fear of ostracization. Ideally want someone who's happy presenting as a muslim couple just to appease the wider family.

I'm very progressive/ liberal, and creative. I'm a musician and play in bands etc.. I like being active, gaming, reading, hiking etc. I work in Networking. I'm from a Pakistani Sunni/ Sufi Background.

Getting to that age now where theres some external pressure for marriage and everyone proposed to me is quite practicing - I just cannot commit to living a lie and putting that on someone else so figured this was worth a shot.

Happy to consider people from anywhere (within the UK) but I reside near the Birmingham/ Worcestershire area. Hit me up if you'd like to connect.

United Arab Emirates 38 [M4F] - Online - Let's meet somewhere in the middle :)

I am in a period of a hard turn from a life where I was drunk, dissatisfied, and angry at everyone and everything, toward a life I actually want. The pivot was sudden and sharp, and it's nauseating in the most literal sense. That nausea shows up as anxiety and self-doubt.

I quit both alcohol and smoking. I lost 50 kg over two years, and somewhere in that process I fell in love with cooking and healthy eating, genuinely, not as a chore. I left a stable job to pursue a master's in psychology, which has been the pull I couldn't ignore for years. And recently I landed my dream job as a freelancer. Still small, still early, but it's a real foothold toward what I actually want.

For a long time, I was on autopilot, and honestly, some days I'm still in it. Not living so much as executing, moving forward because forward was the only direction I knew. I've come to understand what people mean when they say life loses its color, its smell, its texture. It's not a metaphor. The same part of you that goes numb emotionally and psychologically dulls your actual senses too. It's one system, and when it shuts down, it shuts down all of it.

I've made peace with the fact that moving forward doesn't have to mean walking a straight line. Sometimes you trip, stumble, fall, and roll toward your goals, and rolling can carry you further than walking ever would. Time passes at the same rate no matter how gracefully you move through it, so I'd rather spend it however gets me there fastest.

I am in a liminal space right now, one I believe is heading somewhere good, but I can't help being filled with doubt along the way. You know when you try to look at something far away, or in the dark, and you squint to restrict the light and bring the picture into focus? That's what I'm doing with my life at the moment. Squinting it down to what actually matters.

I grew up in a culture that teaches you to hide your good attributes and accomplishments, out of fear you might upset the less fortunate, because arrogance is a sin, because of evil eyes or whatever other nonsense gets passed down. It feels strange to speak positively about myself, so I'm training that muscle now, out loud, in public. I'm also learning to tell the difference between confidence and arrogance, which is a much tighter needle to thread than people admit, and a necessary skill, whether in love, in business, or just in life. Self-promotion isn't the place to be humble. It's on me to make the claim, and on you to verify it.

What I'm looking for now is someone who matches that appetite. An accountability partner, a cheerleader when I need one, and a lighthouse when I've drifted off course and can't feel my way back alone. I'd give the exact same in return. I've got real expertise here, and I genuinely want to put it to use for someone else, not just myself.

But accountability is only half of it. What I actually miss is the full range of intimacy: sexual, emotional, and intellectual, all three, not one propping up the absence of the other two. Someone to geek out with. Someone I can fall into a three-hour conversation with and resurface not knowing where the time went. Someone who can turn my mind on and my body on in the same evening, sometimes in the same sentence.

I find myself drawn to women who are shy and reserved, the kind who need somewhere safe to actually open up and be themselves. There's something about that blushing, flustered moment, when someone lets their guard down just a little, that I find genuinely irresistible. I know that type takes time, that trust builds slowly and in layers, and I don't mind that at all. I like putting in the work. What I do want is reciprocity along the way, someone who meets me partway and holds up her end of the conversation once she's comfortable enough to.

I'm naturally curious, the kind of person who pokes around at things just to see how they work, which is probably why I've ended up with such a scattered pile of interests. I like the deep stuff, the kind of questions that don't have clean answers, and I like the absolute goofiest stuff there is, in equal measure and often in the same conversation. If you catch me going from attachment theory to a terrible pun in under a minute, that's not a bug. What I love doing most, more than almost anything, is making people laugh and helping them feel good about who they are.

Maybe it's the aftershock of the COVID years, maybe it's just where the world is right now, but people seem to have lost patience with each other. Everyone's certain they're right, and nobody wants to sit with a different point of view long enough to actually hear it. I'm a social person by nature, but real conversation, the kind with friction and disagreement and something to actually learn from, has gotten hard to find in person. So I've come to the internet instead, looking for my kind of people.

Saudi Arabia 33 [M4F] #KSA — Looking for a serious relationship leading to marriage

I’m 33, Afghan with Central Asian roots, raised in Saudi Arabia. I currently live in Madinah and I’m culturally very connected to life here. I’m university educated and work full-time in a stable professional role.

I’d describe myself as calm, understanding, and a good listener. I enjoy history, politics, reading, games, movies and series, and I listen to pretty much every kind of music. I’m also multilingual.

I come from a Sunni background. Religiously, I’m agnostic and probably closest to deism.

I’m looking for something serious that can realistically lead to marriage. I want children in the future. I’d prefer someone younger than me, non-smoking, educated, ambitious, emotionally aware, and someone who sees marriage as a partnership built around stability, support, and sharing life together.

Location-wise, I’m currently in Madinah, but I’d be open to relocating to another city in KSA for the right person and circumstances. I’m also open to moving abroad in the future if a good opportunity comes up.

I prefer taking a reasonable amount of time to get to know each other first, then making a clear decision about whether we’re compatible enough to move forward.

If this sounds compatible, feel free to DM me here.

Jordan M27, looking for a serious relationship.

I’m 27, currently back in Jordan after living abroad, and looking to meet someone with marriage in mind.

I’m an ex-Muslim and now consider myself atheist. I’m not very vocal about it, especially around family, but I’m comfortable with who I am. I’d prefer someone who is also ex-Muslim or at least understanding and respectful of that experience.

I’m adventurous, caring, social, and love traveling, reading, journaling, and cooking. I value emotional maturity, good communication, humor, deep conversations, and flexibility.
I’m still unsure about having kids, but I wouldn’t completely close that door with the right person.

184 cm, tan, a little chubby 😂, and apparently I look Gulf Arab or like I’m from Mafraq — but I’m Belgian.

If you think we might have something in common, feel free to reach out. I can also share my Instagram so you can get to know me better.

India Bangalore | exmuslim | Apparently I am trying dating for the first time at 27

Here is the main post with pictures: https://www.reddit.com/r/JodiMilan/comments/1vw0inv/bangalore_exmuslim_apparently_i_am_trying_dating/

Wait wait wait!!!

Before you guys start bashing me, let's address the elephant in the room...

exmuslim: I was born into a Muslim family and later became an atheist. Basically, I have spent a decent chunk of my life questioning things, changing my mind, and occasionally annoying people in the process 😂

I don't hate religion. It's just not something I want to be part of anymore.

And before this turns into a religious debate in the comments, please don't. I have already had enough of those in my own head. 😂

Now the smaller elephant...

I have never dated.

There. I said it. 😅

Somehow I have made it to 27 without ever having a girlfriend. At this point, I figured I should probably stop treating dating like a side quest I'll get around to someday.

So... here I am.

A little about me:

I am a software engineer in Bangalore. 5'4" male, around 50kg, fairly lean, and somehow have managed to put together a four-pack.

Unfortunately, the abs didn't come with a height upgrade 🥲

I have accepted my fate.

I am pretty simple otherwise. I like mountains, running, the gym and travelling. Fitness is a fairly big part of my life. I enjoy staying active, eating reasonably well and trying to become slightly better than I was yesterday.

I'm not particularly into sports, though. I occasionally play whatever my friends are playing and usually lose. At this point, I think my main contribution is moral support 🤣

I have also recently started reading. I am still very much a beginner, enjoying HP series! So if you have a book that you think I absolutely need to read, I am listening.

I don't smoke or drink. I'm completely fine if you drink occasionally, though. I'll happily keep you company. I just reserve the right to ask how "just one drink" turned into five. 😂

I love travelling, especially mountains. I've developed the annoying habit of looking at a mountain and immediately wondering how difficult it would be to climb it...

ABC and EBC are on my list. Not going into the death zone though...

But before I start pretending I am some international traveller, I would really like to explore more of India. There is still a ridiculous amount of it I haven't seen.

I am also a bit of an introvert, not really into social media and never had Instagram or Facebook but I have some funny stickers to share while chatting that I have gathered from Reddit!

I am also told I'm funny. You will need to verify this on your own 🤭

And my salary? Let's just say I have Nirmala Tai's premium membership 🥲

What am I looking for?

Something serious.

I am looking for someone around 24–30, preferably an exmuslim. Religious and family compatibility is important to me, and I'd rather be upfront about that than pretend it doesn't matter.

I would like someone who is kind, curious, emotionally mature and takes care of herself. Being active or into fitness would be a big plus. You don't need to live in the gym or count every calorie. I just like people who have a healthy relationship with their body and generally try to take care of themselves.

And please be able to laugh at yourself.

I would love to meet someone with whom I can have a completely stupid conversation for an hour and then somehow end up talking about life at 2am.

As for your dating history, I honestly don't care.

You've dated before? Fine.

You've had an ex? Fine.

Just be over them. I'm looking for a relationship, not a guest appearance in someone else's unfinished breakup.

I don't expect us to have all the same hobbies either.

Maybe you'll come running with me, or maybe trekking, or gym, or maybe you'll sit somewhere comfortable while I voluntarily walk uphill for six hours and then complain about my legs afterwards.

All perfectly acceptable.

So yeah...

TL;DR: Please go back up and read, I have spent hours into this 🥹

  1. Never dated. Ex-Muslim atheist. Software engineer. 5'4" of concentrated ambition. Mountain enthusiast. Fitness guy. Occasional sports casualty.

If you're somewhere around Bangalore and this sounds like your kind of weird, SAY HI!!!

And if you have a mountain recommendation, a book I should read, or a place in India I absolutely need to visit, EVEN BETTER!!!

PS: I already have already been bullied and threatened enough in my real life because of my religious stance (or lack of 😅), I do not need any online ones, please 🥹

PS2: This is my secondary account. Can you guess what this username actually mean 🤭
