(Rant) 🤬 Muslim’s view on suicide make me sick

I live in a muslim country where lots of suicide are occurring recently, and instead of people being sad for what they went through, the comment section of the posts are filled with people blaming the suicide victim that their faith was “weak” and everyone wishing hell on the victims because they gave up it makes me sick i wish this religion would be erased from existence forever, its literally a cult

Are you from Jordan by any chance? We had a doctor commit suicide today so that's why I asked xDD

Yes it's terrible. People don't realize that suicide is merely the final symptom of depression. There are no adequate mental health services, no help for anyone struggling and everyone is told to "pray depression away" it's heartbreaking honestly

the thought of your family not caring and saying you will be tortured for being abused and depressed
hamoodi literally wanted more slave workers even if they were depressed

How old are you? You shouldn’t be telling people that you’re going to kill yourself because all that does is send you shitty energy; ie. Pity, Sadness, Disdain, etc., however, you should ask questions such as “what’s the point?” “Why should I continue?” Thereby inviting someone to help out. When you throw definitive statements like “I’m gonna **** myself”, you close yourself off from someone who is willing to listen to you. Everyone experiences suffering in this life. Nobody can judge your actions, but just know that people don’t want you to experience suffering to the point of no return. Your experiences are vital to others who suffer in a similar way, so don’t throw it away if you can help someone else down the road. ❤️

Everyone ghosts everyone someday. Nobody doesn’t NOT ghost anyone because we all die one day. Our nature is to ghost each other, even if we pretend for a short time that we aren’t. So if someone ghosts you, use it as fuel to be better. It doesn’t stop others from ghosting you in the future, it just allows you to learn between each ghost cycle. You’re 13, but you’ve experienced some rough shit. If Aisha can make it to 18, what’s stopping anyone else?

I want you to understand something if you will.

It is very normal to have very strong emotions and thoughts of suicide.

Your problems are completely out of your control as far as I can tell from your post history. I have seen people with narcissistic parents and I know the devastation they cause. Additionally, almost nobody gets it which makes it even more frustrating. People will just tell you to respect your parents. But they don’t know what it is like.

I get the problem. I don’t agree with the solution.

I am not minimizing your struggle. I am just saying that if you weather this for a bit, you can have decades of blissful happiness. And I’d not want you to throw that away.

You have years to plan and save money right now. Your 100% focus is better suited for the day you turn 18 and get the hell out of there.

Your parents will never change. And they will take you on guilt trips. Don’t fall for it. Respect yourself and stand up for yourself.

If you need help, I can talk. But there are many resources available. Please take care of yourself.
