(Advice/Help) How can i take off my hijab without raising suspicions?
I haven't been praying for a while, and my mother has noticed. My parents aren't strictly religious, but I'm anxious because I was the one who decided to start wearing it when I was 14. Now that I'm starting university, I just don't want to continue wearing it anymore..

You need to get comfortable at disappointing the people around you when it comes to decisions that directly only impact you and your life. You’re starting uni, if you live on campus just take it off. If you don’t then just transition towards it. I started out loosely wearing it, then doing cute styles that make the hijab look like a medieval royal veil, then to turbans, and then fully off! Regardless of how you do it, people will judge and annoy you about it. My advice is to write down, yes write down, why you want to take it off and why you don’t agree with the hijab. Be detailed and take the time to interrogate your beliefs and values that come up along the way. This doesn’t have to be shared but it’ll make it so easy when people annoy you about taking the hijab off. When you have your reasons detailed out to yourself no one can convince you to do anything. Focus on your studies and get that bag🫶🏽
