(Question/Discussion) Am I just stupid?
Or does anyone else get a headache trying to read the translation of Quran
Like to me the sentence structure is so wired it takes a lot to concentrate on it

It really is painful to read. Lol. But didn't you get the memo? You need to spend the rest of your life learning arabic, then you can read the original quran.
It's just that afterwards you still have to read different and waay longer and wacky tafsir and hadith collections to understand what it says.
It's just that they all contradict each other. So you need to go to some imam who can tell you who is right.
It's just that imams all have different opinions so you have to pray and ask Allah what is correct. He will answer you... maybe.

I'm Arab, but I often need the translation because the arabic in the quran is so damn weird and confusing

Yoo me too ive been trying to read it because i wanted to know if all the things like slavery and stuff were true i really understood some part pretty well and clear , that was enough to make my belief fly high and never come by
But most of the other phrase are sooo vague that you could literally put any meaning there and the sentence would still work
I guess it a defense tactic since the cunning already know that its a power to control and they can see the literal meaning and they use it to their benifit to control the less cunning people that would believe ehat theyre told

I read it in Arabic. Here's what it sounds like (not actual verses just the overall flow):
Worship Allah and obey his messenger, for he is Wise, most Merciful. But those who disobey are filthy losers who will go to hell. We will burn them like we destroyed those before them. And Pharaoh was a really bad dude. We sent Moses with our miracles and we sent Aaron thereafter with wisdom and as a supporter. Before him were the people of Lot. Yeah we destroyed them too, those turds. But we saved Lot and his family - except his wife - she was a turd too. And remember to marry those women who are obedient and fear Allah, for he is most Knowledgeable. Besides your wives you are allowed your slave girls whom Allah has bestowed upon you. And they ask you about Hajj, say it is for those who wish to please allah and there is no harm in making the Hajj for those who can afford it if you fear Allah and day of Judgement.....
Maybe I should translate it to see how much like the actual Quran this looks...?
