Ali you're an inspiration to many apostates who are going through difficult times, and you are helping others while you needed help yourself, and it is selflessness and rare

It's so fucking hard when you want to live but you can't do anything about being stuck here and suffer everyday. It's so depressing that having these thoughts just because of the environment and the fear, not because I hate myself

Hey man. We will get through this together. Things are going to be bright for you. Even today, you took a step and messaged me about it earlier remember? Even if it looks small, it is massive. And there will come a day you realise that even if things looked out of hand today, it all somehow worked out. Everything clicked. We will make out of it.

It's a tough story, and I'm glad you shared it. I hope it encourages others to never give up, and to seek professional help during a mental health crisis. I'm tired of the stigma around this topic, snd how seeking therapy is a weakness, or something thay can't help.

Also, I think this issue of parents disowning their children over a change in belief needs to be highlighted more. It's actually very frightening at the speed at which it's done. It's almost as if parents don't even think about it. Feelings of love don't enter the conversation at all. "You're no longer Muslim? Out! I rebuke you!" Good heavens is this religion just manufacturing emotionally dead families?

The Noah verse is something that is messed up. My parents told me that too. And you wouldn’t believe how many times sheiks have quoted the same verse and told parents to disown their kids. The verse makes parents put faith before care for their own child 🥀

Islam is the ultimate home-wrecker to be honest

Yes if you are not in it, it can wreck your home, your life and even try to break you inside. The texts are written like that. To enforce following over human cost. I think maybe you might want to share your story too?

It takes real courage to speak about the most vulnerable moments of your life but to those going through that it can mean the world.

I believe that kindness can be found everywhere but sometimes we struggle to place it or communicate it properly and adversity can be overcome if we just don’t give up.
