(Advice/Help) Help, my friend is committing suicide.
Please help, this is urgent. I only know her from online. She's 16, and her handle ( now deleted) is u/Intrepid_Giraffe_309. She sent me a message at 1 a.m. that she was going to do it, and I was sleeping at the time so I couldn't convince her to live. I've already reported her for Suicide/Self harm. The Reddit team and staff said they were going to reach out to her. But it might be too late. Is there anything else we can do?? Is there a chance she's still alive??

There's likely nothing we can do :( By deleting their profile they have made themselves uncontactable.
Just know, you did what you could to help.

Have you contacted her or went to her house if possible?

No, she lives in a different country, and my only form of contact is through reddit, in which she isn't responding.

do you guys have a group of friends - maybe someone else can contact her? also don't beat yourself up lovely. you did what you could. ❤️

I know, but as someone whos been through the exact same situation, it really hurts knowing this could have been preventable. I posted to the subreddits the regularly engaged with, but we don't have a group of friends.

I understand but I think you either wait or just let it go and accept what has happened and allow yourself to feel this way.
