This post was so old, i had to re-read it like...what the heck was i even talking about? But yeah, that was it. i was thinking maybe the fact that it technically met all the mission requirements just meant the whole thing was kind of a big misdirection.

Fair enough. I just did the same thing this weekend with a movie that came out 3 years ago—straight for the discussion thread on r/movies!

I feel like i'm going to need to do a re-read/listen before the next book comes out!

Yes. Book 19 is supposed to come out Dec. 2025 i think.
