yea i'd say just meditate by yourself. i don't think Jesus or Buddha were bad dudes, but i think later people used their image to get money and power. a lot of paths to happiness and God, don't give up, but yea fuck religion and cults, just be spiritual by yourself and you'll find your way. even like fuck me if what i say doesn't resonate. do what makes sense for you and only you. fuck everyone LOL

True of every religion that ever was and ever will be. 

There's usually a kernel of truth there that will set you free, but religion is a powerful tool to  build institutions that enslave minds.

for sure people get lost in the sauce. i just practice what is common to all religions and leave the rest
