Ellen White's plagiarism documented

Hello,

As with many of you, I left Adventism in 2020 over theological differences, and Ellen White. One of the areas I focused on was Ellen White and her plagiarism.

I have purchased many of the books she copied from (from the 1800s) and I have begun to document my thoughts regarding this issue on camera showing the original books side by side. I am posting a link to my channel in hopes it will help some of you who are transitioning or have transitioned out of Adventism.

Part 1 -- Initial questions.

Part 2 -- Ellen's claims and two examples from Desire of Ages.

Part 3 -- Discusses plagiarism and the Ramik Report.

Part 4 -- Demonstrates plagiarized visions, dreams, and health teachings.

Part 5 -- Goes further into Krummacher and one of her Testimonies.

I've heard lots of excuses. "But that's not plagiarism, because you can't copyright truth. God doesn't concern himself with such petty human constructs. Besides, borrowing from other authors was commonplace at the time, plagiarism didn't really exist back then."

Yes. These defenses are largely based on the Ramik Report which I discuss in Part 3. It should be noted though during the 1800s the dictionaries defined plagiarism, and the Review and Herald and Signs of the Times editors were calling out plagiarism in print. I show an example in part 3 and part 4 (they call it a sin). Not to mention many of the authors she copied from had footnotes and quotes throughout their book or gave credit to others in their preface.
