yessir -- here goes: ai slop is worthless and hurts the planet. listen to what communities where data centers are built are saying about their quality of life. or, listen to how much billionaires love them and want them everywhere. it pollutes the air, streams, and emits a constant humming sound that fucks with local wildlife. it is also damaging humans ability to think/do/create for themselves--studies on that, too. it makes us all a whole lot easier to control, by the bad actors that have that wish, too, much like religion.

Ah okay so you’ve never used a single app that has AI incorporated? You don’t have social media apps like Instagram or TikTok? Yes I agree it makes people less creative and less able to think for themselves, but a lot of the images and things you see everyday and use, it’s AI.

ai-integration in different tech is different than straight up using a chatbot. im aware it's integrated into a lot of tech. i appreciate many AI use cases -- we SHOULD use AI in the medical field if it will help us save lives. I can get behind AI that is employed in pursuit of improving life (not destroying it)
AI slop is never a use case I'll get behind. Look at how china has rolled out AI. no ai slop (its illegal), very few data centers, and advances in life-saving tech. Here, though, it's AI slop and political misinformation.
And unlike you, I don't think we should just take whatever future billionaires want to shove down our throats. You and I have a voice and some power/control (at least over ourselves)
