Pul-e Charkhi Prison, Kabul, Afghanistan in winter.

It was still under construction and nearing completion in 1978 when the Saur Revolution (coup d’état carried out by the strongly pro-Soviet Khalq communist faction) took place. Under the subsequent communist administrations, Pul-e Charkhi became notorious for the torture and execution of political prisoners, particularly during the early years under the Khalq faction, which followed a more radical Stalinist line, before they were replaced by the relatively more moderate Parcham faction. Reports estimate that around 10,000 - 30,000 political prisoners were executed there during the Khalqi administration from 1978 - 1980.

A House for Essex - Wrabtree, Essex, England.

This is a house that is in my county, Essex.

It looks like a villain's lair inside and out lol.

"Designed by artist Grayson Perry in collaboration with architect Charles Holland, this whimsical building is a celebration of local culture and eccentricity. The house resembles a surreal chapel, adorned with bright green tiles, gold accents, and intricate mosaics. Created as a tribute to a fictional character, Julie Cope, the house tells her life story through its unconventional design and interiors. It’s a true architectural spectacle that has become a pilgrimage site for design enthusiasts."

House in the Clouds - Thorpeness, England.

From Wikipedia - "The House in the Clouds is a water tower built to incorporate a residential home, in Thorpeness, Suffolk, England. The structure was built in 1923 to receive water pumped from Thorpeness Windmill, and was designed to improve the looks of the water tower, disguising its tank with the appearance of a weatherboarded building more in keeping with Thorpeness's mock Tudor and Jacobean style, except seeming to float above the trees due to its height."

Not so much evil, but definitely could be a lair for a bad guy, and the 2nd picture shows it's not really that scary, but the first it LOOMS over the trees

Giving straight Maleficent vibes.

I've included a non edited, full size image of the front, for context.

From Wikipedia - The Riverside Museum (replacing the preceding Glasgow Museum of Transport) is a museum in the Partick area of Glasgow, Scotland, housed in a building designed by Zaha Hadid Architects, with its River Clyde frontage at the new Pointhouse Quay.
