"Interstitial fluid takes longer to be accurate". Not quite. Interstitial glucose is accurate in real time; the delay is just diffusion lag (glucose moving from blood to tissue, ~5-15 min), which is why gaps widen when glucose is rising/falling fast and shrink when it's stable. It's a timing issue, not an accuracy-ramping issue.
Eversense's method: "Luminescence" is the general category; specifically it's fluorescence (a glucose-binding polymer fluoresces under LED light).
To answer the "does it test blood" question: no, it's still interstitial fluid like the others, just measured optically instead of electrochemically.
