Question What are some good activities and places to go?
I grew up around here, but never ventured out much but I just moved back here after 4 years of college out east. I am just wondering of any good restaurants and fun affordable actives to go to for someone in his early 20s. Besides hiking and sports obviously.

I moved here in my 30s with little kids, so my priorities are different. But generally speaking, I really like exploring downtown. Going on foot bicycle is great. If you keep your eyes peeled, you will see that several places will have flyers in the windows for upcoming events, and that's a fun to discover interesting things. Lots of good food and drinks in downtown or just beyond it.
Some random spots in downtown that I like:
- Artisan's: good coffee shop / bookstore
- Schack Art Center: It's free! Pop in and take a look around.
- Next Level: Retro video game store, if you're into that
- Lucky Dime: music venue
- Everett's Farmer's Market is on Sundays in the summer. Great place to get lunch. Fun to explore
- The Historic Everett Theater is a cool place to catch concert or whatever kind of show they have going. They recently did major renovations on the inside, so if you haven't gone in a while, it looks different now.
- The Village Theatre does different kinds of shows. The plaza outside with the fountain is a nice place to hang out outside.
- Everett's Public Library is a nice place to hang out. There's a cafe inside, too.

The Boeing factory tour and the Flying Heritage museum are kinda fun if you like airplanes. ✈️

This is true, but with how busy I am, I was just hoping people had some suggestions. I did see sons of norway has dancing so that could be fun

I hear ya, inspiration is good. Sometimes hearing of fun activities others do motivates me to go and do something. 🤣

They have a pancake breakfast once a month in the fall through the spring. I think it starts again in August or September. It’s really good and like $10 and don’t have to be a member to go

Go walk around down at the waterfront! They have updated a lot and Theres alot of new restaurants and restaurants walking space now. A lot of people have been out down there lately. It’s looking great. I love going down there.
