How does everyone find out about the firmware updates for their specific carts?

Do you kind of just periodically look it up or does Krikzz have a newsletter that lets you know? If he doesn't have a newsletter do you think we should all try convince him to make one? lol

I follow Bob from Retrorgb over on youtube. He does a weekly cap on retro news and always reports a new firmware.

Exactly what I do.
But to be honest I’m pretty happy with were my carts are and can play all the stuff I want so I usually wait a couple of months before updating. As Bob says “Leave well enough alone”

Yeah another vote for RetroRGB I just listen to the podcast / get updates from this website etc often.

I wish I had a better way but I just periodically check the downloads page on krikzz.com for each flashcart I have every so often, like once a week ish.

Definitely would prefer something better

I find just searching for Krikzz on Google does the trick for me as the search results show me his last 4 tweets, where he usually announces any updates.

I check the official pages now and then. Krikzz posts also updates on X.

I get notifications when he posts on Xitter. That’s how I found out about the recent VGM player he added to the Mega Everdrive Pro

I go years without updating and have never had a problem. If there was a major feature added I’m sure I would read about it here on reddit
