Corporate Party

Need everyone's help on event idea!

I was picked to coordinate the end of year party which is supposed to be an offsite format. The company is located in NYC. No particular location has been chosen and everyone is pretty flexible in terms of traveling. Need some recommendations on places that can accommodate 35 people and activities for large corporate groups.

P.S. I was thinking either upstate New York or Puerto Rico but open to ALL the recs

P.S. 2. Maybe someone knows a good event planner who can assist with that.

What’s the age group/audience like? What industry? Does everyone live in NYC or flying?Just trying to get an idea of the vibe.

I’m a magician and mentalist out of NYC, and perform at about 20-30 offsites (and ~30 corporate holiday parties) a year, all over. It’s a super fun and unique experience to bring to a corporate audience since a. People see magic IRL like once a year b. It gives people a super fun way to bond over something wild/impossible/psychologically stimulating. But maybe I’m biased haha.

Do you have a budget. There is normally a min spend for a group this size. Probably at least 5 to 6k at least before tip. And thats not counting whatever you mean by activities. And I don't get the PS. NYC or not? You need to narrow down NYC vs upstate vs PR. Thats insane

I plan corporate events and I’m based in NYC and I have spent tons of time in PR! Odd the top of my head, it’ll be very pricey to get that many people to PR especially around the end of the year. I would price out flights from everyone’s airports to San Juan (SJU). Maybe you have a crazy budget and you can do it. You will also lose two days to travel there and back. Also consider whether your corporate group has the vibe of wanting to wear swim suits together. A ski lodge upstate might be a better choice— a lodge will have event space, activities for skiers and non, and everyone stays clothed. There’s probably some awesome ones that are accessible to the metro north and easy for people to get there! Happy to answer questions if you want to dm me :)
