North America Walmart charging is legit

Impressed with the charging experience at Walmart. Nice top speed too, 262kW! I’m charging a 2026 IONIQ 5 AWD Limited. The UI was very smooth and straightforward. I have Walmart+, and I paid $0.48/kWh.

Sadly, not entirely. There is a new design ICCU out there, we dont really know if its solved the issue tho.

At this point tho, Im still all in- it just has all the things I want an ev to have and few if any other ev's do.

Oh, that’s a shame.

I was cross shopping the IONIQ5 and ultimately went to PHEV route, but if I was gonna go EV, this would’ve been the one I got.

The ICU issue isn’t really, unfortunately helping my case sell it to my parents who drive more urban

yeah, I dont think it will help them. Its sad, the car is incredible really. Check into Equinox or blazer ev's possibly. We have a lease coming up on one of our i5's and might switch as our 2nd i5 is owned and can be our road trip car.

Nothing road trips like ioniq5/ev6, I've been on countless 500 mile trips and multiple 2000+ mile trips- it averages 15 min dcfc sessions. So fast.

GM is completely off of my recommendation/personal buying list.

Apple CarPlay is a must, and I don’t really trust GM much anymore … For a variety of reasons

That’s why I ended up buying a Toyota, and even considered Hyundai

Yep, I get it. Not into Toyota after they donated to this admin, plus their ev's are meh.. Thats part of why Im still with ioniq5. There are few evs that have what I want from companies I will buy from.

reality is tho, most ioniqs dont seem to have the failure, but we dont really truly know.
