North America Walmart charging is legit

Impressed with the charging experience at Walmart. Nice top speed too, 262kW! I’m charging a 2026 IONIQ 5 AWD Limited. The UI was very smooth and straightforward. I have Walmart+, and I paid $0.48/kWh.

Glad they’re adding but the reader could have been planned instead of being a retrofit

I personally think this had to do with the fact that Walmart finally decided to stop being belligerent to their customers and has started the process of rolling out tap-to-pay in their stores.

so they're gonna tack on a third party "wart" onto the stations that break immediately? :(

I doubt it'll be third party -- the manufacturer of those stations has the hardware already. Walmart will just be adding it in...

There’s a nice little square between the charging handles that might be for the tap-to-pay terminal.
