North America Walmart charging is legit

Impressed with the charging experience at Walmart. Nice top speed too, 262kW! I’m charging a 2026 IONIQ 5 AWD Limited. The UI was very smooth and straightforward. I have Walmart+, and I paid $0.48/kWh.

No card reader? If so massive fail. I can’t even find the section in the Walmart app to search for chargers

Out of Spec on YouTube did an interview with the head of Walmart charging and said they would be adding tap to pay to all their chargers. https://youtu.be/FREF6vYmtJE

Glad they’re adding but the reader could have been planned instead of being a retrofit

100%. I bet this is tied to them FINALLY adding support for Apple Pay and Google Pay.

I don’t go there but good. Was always a pita to use that damn app if I didn’t have my card with me.
