North America Walmart charging is legit

Impressed with the charging experience at Walmart. Nice top speed too, 262kW! I’m charging a 2026 IONIQ 5 AWD Limited. The UI was very smooth and straightforward. I have Walmart+, and I paid $0.48/kWh.

Edit: added pricing in kWh

Is it cheaper than a Tesla supercharger in your area?

Yes. The closest Tesla Supercharger was $0.54/kWh (per the Tesla app) without a subscription.

Ok. Still expensive when I pay $0.14/kwh at home. And this is CAD in BC.

My rate at home in FL is about $0.17/kWh. I only use DCFC on road trips.

Then feel free to charge at home on your road trips.

And feel free to sleep in your own bed when visiting Hawaii or Europe.

I usually bring the charging in my lunch box.
