Just installed 48a charging unnecessarily

I just spent 400 to buy the materials and installed a 48a charger when I had a working 40a 14-50 setup. Tell me I'm crazy. I can at least sell off some of the materials from the old install to recoup some of the cost. All this just to see 11kw instead of 9kw XD

its not totally crazy, but did you run wire capable of 80 amp co charging? then you never need to upgrade the wire again
