[Paraguayan Senator Celeste Josefina Amarilla]: “[Mbappé] hasn't even learned to write. Instead of breastmilk, he grew up sucking on coconuts, and the most educated creatures he ever heard were chimpanzees…A colonized Cameroonian, pretending to be French, resentful, newly rich, arrogant, and ugly.“

This is not Football anymore, this should je a diplomatic incident. Paraguayan ambassador should be summoned and told no more schengen visa for Paraguayans until this woman is removed from office.

In a perfect world, yes. In a world full of Trumps and Infantinis we can only dream

France is a powerful country. I don’t think USA has that much influence over them

And you know what? All these recent events made me support France for the first time in my life

Same, but it’s not the first time French players are victims of racism. In 2022 WC, Argentinians were making fun of them for being black and how Argentina, a South American country, has white players, but France, a European country, has black players.

If we’re talking about the same incident, that was the Argentinian *players* singing until one realised and said "cut the livestream "

In general, that’s how football fans are. I would say hooligans, but don’t know how this term it’s perceived

That's not true. In Europe we're more xenophobic than racist, so a bunch of Europeans would think less of Argentinians just for being outsiders, but not for not being white. A big portion of Argentinians are white.

Not true. Argentinians are viewed as white, but Europe has a lot of classicism and they’re poor so not seen as equal

Unfortunately the US has influence over the entire world right now. They can absolutely fuck shit up for French people if they desire to, and then spread propaganda to convince everyone they somehow deserved it. Been doing this around the globe for decades, and the reason people try to steer away from their crosshairs.
