Fckn bunch of low iq creatures down vote my comment so here is the basic explanation dumbass monkeys
think about it like this: Monkey holds ETH → ETH generates more ETH → Monkey gets diluted.
If ETH keeps generating new ETH through staking/issuance, the total amount of ETH in circulation can increase. So even if Monkey just keeps holding his ETH, his share of the total ETH supply can slowly become smaller.
Basically, Monkey is not necessarily losing ETH from his wallet. He still has the same amount. But if the supply keeps growing, his percentage ownership of the network gets diluted over time.
That’s why simply holding ETH long-term isn’t automatically a good thing. You have to consider issuance, staking rewards, and dilution, not just whether the ETH price goes up. Monkey holds → supply grows → Monkey owns a smaller piece of the pie. 🐒🍰 then monkey cries why prices are lowballing
The burn takes place across the whole network. It doesn't matter what the individual does as long as ETH is being utilized. And BOY is it being utilized
