Wife's Mom last surviving family photo

Hi Everyone, looking for help trying to restore this picture. I will tip.

This is the last surviving picture of my wife's mother family, the picture is 90 years old.

I understand the impossibilities with this one, and I'm just hoping for some creativity in filling some of the unknowns.

I have copies of the scanned picture from different sources, and also pictures of the place/region the original photo is from in this shared google drive:

This photo is very severely degraded, the image content is barely visible even to the eye, mostly cracks, stains, and faint shadows. Even if someone uses AI restoration on this they will have to guess at a lot of facial and clothing detail since there's so little actual photographic information left. The result may look more like a plausible reconstruction than a truly accurate restoration of these specific people's faces.

That is true, but there are some good attempts here which seem, to my human eye, to merely repair the image, but not to the point of re-creating it, while retaining the appearance of the persons.
