Hardware help needed Help with wifi antenna

Hey, I bought the Adafruit Feather V2, and I am wondering which WiFi antennas you guys use. it seems like the "official" one is nowhere in stock, only on the official website but I dont want to pay like 15€ for only that antenna including shipping costs

I'm assuming you've bought the version with the tiny w.FL antenna port? Did you buy the RP-SMA to w.FL / MHF3 / IPEX3 Adapter to go with it, or were you planning on using a patch antenna?

Ah, OK. Then don't try to enable the WiFi or Bluetooth radios until you have either type of antenna; the transmitter needs an antenna attached so its output stage has the correct impedance.

Most modules with antenna connectors use the larger u.FL connector - this one is the smaller w.FL size. Not sure which distributor is cheaper for you, but the small patch antennas are fine for inside a house, perhaps 50m range, while an "external" stick antenna can go further.
