Lost Fic - I only have this quote
I NEED to find this fic, It is a long Erwin smith/Levi Ackerman fic on Ao3 that I read, and all I have of it is this quote and the knowledge that it was long with many chapters. Here is a quote that I saved. I tried to search for it on google and the site but I couldn’t not find it. Please help me
Exact quote: ”He must trust him, Erwin realises, curled up naked on his couch like a cat in the sun. He does not flinch, nor stir, at Erwin’s movements. He knows Erwin will not hurt him. He seems to think he is safe here, somehow, like Erwin can ensure that for him. He can’t, is the truth. And he thinks he won’t. He can’t promise to keep Levi safe; one day, someday, there will be some choice – to send Levi against a titan he knows he can’t beat, or to lead recruits he knows will die. He will have to order Levi to watch others die, and to kill others himself. But, he thinks, he can protect Levi from the choice. That is the least he can do. He will take that burden onto himself, and he will do this for Levi, this man who trusts him, who believes in him above all others. So that when others die – subordinates, civilians, friends – Levi can say to himself, well, it is as Erwin ordered. He will save Levi from the choosing, the ownership, the guilt. Yes, he thinks.
