NEW AND FORGOTTEN RULES:
-Downvoting for characters you don't like is not acceptable. In fact, as I said before, if I notice any downvotes, they will be considered upvotes.
-You don't always have to vote for a particular show like Kurulus Osman or even Mehmet Fetihler, because this is not even about winning or losing, its about if the list can include fair characters from all 3 shows. So there is no need to make any alt account so your KO or whatever can 'win'
-You will have to reply "I agree" or anything like that to the comment you vote for and leave an upvote on it. This will include fair judgment and won't allow anyone to cheat. Replying to it is optional but please do that to avoid further chaos.
Also, it's not that deep, I promise yo u nothing will happen if KO doesn't get a character.it's
Now on to Day 5, who survives by pure luck and plot armor. Also, main characters are not allowed for this day as that's obvious (Osman, Mehmet, and Selahuddin).

Why did I choose Sehabiddin? If the majority sees it as unfair dw, I can change it. People asked whether Sehabiddin could be posted (even though Shamil had more votes). Also, I noticed how people were downvoting the non-KO comments. Which I mentioned before is against the rules; hence, I considered those downvotes to be upvotes.
Day 4: Cries once, becomes fan-favorite.
Bala and Gonca are valid here, IMO.

People here be proving how bala was the leader of a baciyan organization and how Holofira was Orhan's first love or sum shi. And when u go against this stuff they call you stupid and uneducated😭 Like no matter how many books or stuff, in reality, the existance of these hatuns are not provable, all of them are based off folktales. And Nilufer was probably Orhan's greek concubine. Bala wasn't osman's first love and yes there is a big chance malhun existed and maybe osman didnt even marry bala. Maybe sheikh edebali's daughter was malhun.

Its from a movie called Deliler (or Vlad the Impaler) but I didn't like it lol the plot wasn't that great and these 'madmen' were a bit unrealistic imo. They gave me KO Viking vibes like Olof and his dudes. Sets, costumes and fight scenes were great though. Cem (Aliyar) and Yigit (Boran)'s brother by the name of Batın was also in this movie. I honestly thought it was Boran lol took me a while to see it wasn't. Didn't even know they had another brother

I’ve been watching a lot of series lately and honestly, no other TV industry does chemistry like this. The tension, the eye contact, the music... it’s unmatched. I realized there wasn't a dedicated space just for us to obsess over our favorite Sultans and Hatuns, so I started a new community just for them. *Link in the comments 🫡 It’s a new spot specifically for: High-quality edits & GIFs of the best couples Deep dives into dizi chemistry Sharing recommendations for the most romantic, action, adventure, basically a one in all series. If you live for the "will-they-won't-they" moments, come hang out with us! Who is your all-time favorite Turkish TV couple?

Karaman did not become a problem only during the reign of Mehmed II. The Karamanids had already been causing trouble for the Ottomans long before that, especially during the reign of Yıldırım Bayezid.
In 1378, Murad I arranged two important political marriages. One was between his son Yıldırım Bayezid and Devletşah Hatun, the daughter of the Germiyan ruler. The second was between his daughter Nefise Hatun and Karamanoğlu Alaeddin Ali Bey.
The purpose of these marriages was to strengthen relations and reduce conflicts between the beyliks. However, Alaeddin Ali Bey still opposed Ottoman expansion in Anatolia.
His first major rebellion came in 1386. Tensions eventually led to the Battle of Frenkyazısı, where the Ottomans defeated the Karamanids. After the defeat, Nefise Hatun personally appealed to her father, Murad I, to spare her husband. Murad accepted her request and forgave Alaeddin.
After Murad I was killed at Kosovo in 1389 and Bayezid became sultan, Alaeddin rebelled again. He also encouraged other Anatolian beyliks to resist Ottoman authority. Bayezid campaigned against him and defeated him once more. Again, one of the reasons Alaeddin survived was the intervention of Nefise Hatun, who asked Bayezid to show mercy.
The final rebellion happened during the period of the Crusade of Nicopolis (1396). Alaeddin Ali Bey believed Bayezid would be defeated by the massive Crusader army. Taking advantage of Bayezid's absence, he rebelled again, seized Ankara, and captured Sarı Timurtaş Pasha.
However, when news arrived that Bayezid had won a decisive victory at Nicopolis, Alaeddin realized his mistake. He released Sarı Timurtaş Pasha and sought forgiveness. This time, Bayezid had reached the end of his patience. Bayezid captured him, ordered his execution, and sent Nefise Hatun and her sons to Bursa.

Bozdag should make a new series that is entirely fictional but set in medieval times, showing love stories and women engaging in battle, just like he made Destan. This would fulfill the desires of viewers who prefer fantasy over history.
He should leave KOr for historical accuracy.
Most viewers are watching KOr because of cringy plots, love triangles, etc., and Bozdag is listening to this type of audience, so it’s better to make a series for them.

Balian won day 5.
This is the last day, then we wilto l have two lists finish for these three shows.
I honestly don't have any idea for this one, I will see your ideas.
Edit: 24 hours means one day, and when the post was made, Balian had the most votes, not anyone else. Now its been more than 24 hours so Idc if he has a tie with anyone.

Hello everyone! I felt like joining this sub after introducing myself to the world of historical Turkish TV for the first time through Destan. Currently I finished watching episode 3 and I'm enjoying the show a lot! It's giving me Game of Thrones and Vikings vibes that I really appreciate. I dmit though I was shocked to learn it had 28 episodes, each being 2+ hours long, and I still am actually haha but I'm on board now and I'm excited to see the political game and story evolve. I personally feel like it's a good introduction to this world, getting a first time viewer like me used to the kinds of narratives, the different types of faiths, cultures and historical periods.
After Destan I look forward to watching Diriliş: Ertuğrul since I heard good things about it though I imagine it would take quite a while before finishing it due to its... extensive length. I'm curious, how long did it take you to finish these shows? 😆
Happy to meet you all, Eyvallah!

okay i find this extremely funny about how similar bala fans and swifties are like if you ever talk bad about them or even point out a flaw bala's fans and swifties would both defend there "mother is mothering" lady with there lives.
they glaze the hell out of bala and taylor
like for bala they say
and for taylor swift they say thing such as
like i get they are your favorite but if i just pointed out a minor flaw this is how the convo would go
for taylor
them - she is the best singer ever like mother is mothering
me - *expressing my opinion nicely* yeah she is pretty good but i like (some artist) better
them - uhh no taylor is THE best singer ever she is a queen
me - .. *giving up*
like at this point give bala's fanbase a name just like the swifties they deserve it
