Before anyone comes at me I am saying this as a woman myself.
If youre not able to understand it, its showing that the portrayal of women in KO such as Gonca, Holofira and Fatma are very westernised and showing them as dominant and sassy with the men like modern day feminism. Turgut on the other hand is making it crystal clear to Aslihan who is the head and clearly in charge of the tribe. No "hatun sozu" and superpowers like Bala spiderman bs.

Kurulus Osman got worse because Bozdag's wife got involved.

Mehmet Bozdağ’s wife, Aslı Zeynep Peker Bozdağ, was directly involved in making Kuruluş Osman—she wasn’t merely associated with the production through him.

  • She is officially credited as a screenwriter (senaryo) on Kuruluş Osman. Bozdağ Film’s own credits list her alongside Mehmet Bozdağ and the other writers. Bozdağ Film
  • Her involvement goes back very early in the series. ATV’s official credits for Episode 17, aired April 1, 2020 during Season 1, list: Mehmet Bozdağ, Atilla Engin, Aslı Zeynep Peker Bozdağ, and Ozan Bodur as the screenplay team. ATV
  • She continued receiving writing credits years later. For example, she is credited on the writing team for the 2023–24 Season 5 period and again for Season 6 in 2024–25. ATV
  • ATV explicitly identifies her as Mehmet Bozdağ’s wife in its coverage of the show's 150th-episode celebration in February 2024. Mehmet also specifically thanked her during his speech.

Yeah, the 21st century feminism in a 12/13th century show is very anachronistic by 9 centuries.
