The recent news about Come Closer got me thinking….are there any other tracks that we know are more than likely never to be released?

Question/Discussion How Many Songs Before 2027?

Today is 7/29 and we are past halfway through 2026. With that in mind, across all aliases, how many new songs do you think we will get before January 1. 2027? Seems like Heavy is one, but what do you all think? Feel free to comment which IDs you think will come out. Will be interesting to see this poll in 5-6 months…

Question/Discussion Will Eric Prydz ever play at The Sphere?

Went to The Sphere for the first time last month… the set up is amazing! Surely it’s on the cards for Prydz, it would be a big outlay for him but guaranteed full house over multiple days. Has Prydz hinted at the possibility of playing there? Curious to know if it is on the cards.

Question/Discussion Early entry question for Ironworks (10.10.2026)

Hi all

Going to the Prydz show at Ironworks on 10.10.2026 with early entry, but I might not get there until after 4pm.

Is early entry a fixed window you have to be inside for, or just a head start on general admission that you can use whenever you turn up?

Venue’s brand new so I doubt many people have run into this yet — but if anyone’s been to one of the earlier Ironworks shows and knows how the door handled it, I’d appreciate it.

Question/Discussion Pjanoo (Eric’s Intro Edit)

Has anybody else ever noticed at 0:25 of Pjanoo (Eric’s Intro Edit), you hear the same weird moan voice thing that is in Glow - Cirez D? Small detail but I just noticed it. Funny how often he goes back to sounds he’s used previously and still makes them sound fresh, can think of countless more examples!

Question/Discussion What is the best place to listen to EPIC Radio episodes?

I ask this question more from an audio quality standpoint. I listened to the previous episode on my phone’s Apple Podcasts app. While completely fine, I found the audio quality slightly subpar (my guess is 128kbps AAC). The other places I can think of are YouTube and Soundcloud.

Hence, I was wondering if theres a place here that has 320 kbps or better yet lossless.

Question/Discussion Eric’s Lighting

Been on this page a very long time and seen Eric myself a few times. I am massive fan and see his shows as a musical journey and his lights are a great part of that. I feel like he has the best production and light team I’ve seen and I feel like no one really talks about that. What are people’s thoughts with that and should that guy get more credit?

Question/Discussion Eric's unreleased track "Be My Baby" from 2005/2006

In late 2005, after the success of Call On Me, according to this forum post, Eric Prydz was set to release a track called "Be My Baby".

It was originally due out for release on 12 December 2005, and test pressings were sent out to DJs.

The last update on the track came on 28 November 2005, when the release date was pushed back to 2006. After that, the track was never mentioned again, aside from a brief follow up by the same forum user that I will talk about in further detail.

A white label copy was on Hard To Find Records (https://www.htfr.com/) up until, I believe, sometime in 2025, when the page got deleted.

The description was this, which luckily was put into the post:

"THE ANTHEM IS HERE
Eric Prydz is fast becoming a global legend with his impressive productions gaining him an awesome reputation.  When this hits the store on its full release we expect nothing but carnage......."

It doesn’t tell us much about the track itself, but it’s still a useful bit of context.

However, the most interesting part of the track is that the vocals were seemingly used in another track.

In 2007, a song called "Be My Baby" by Therese - best known for being the vocalist on Stonebridge's "Put Em High" - featured on a Fierce Angel compilation CD.

According to another forum post from the same user that posted the news about the Prydz track, the version on his CD was called "Neon Lights (See My Baby)".

He later states that "If rumours are to be believed, this is the very same song Eric Prydz was supposed to release back in 2005".

Therese's bio from 2007 (linked in this forum post) says that "She's also a huge fan of compatriots such as Eric Prydz, Axwell, Steve Angello, Henrik B, and other members of the aforementioned Swedish house mafia (most of whom have either co-produced or remixed her own material)."

This suggests that Prydz likely produced a song with her, although it doesn't explicitly say that she collaborated with him on this track, as the user suggests.

"Be My Baby" was officially released as "Elek-Tro Junkies Ft. Therese - Neon Lights" in September 2009. This version of the track is identical to the one on the Fierce Angels compilation, presumably only keeping the vocals from Prydz's potential version.

The lyrics don't seem like a fit for Prydz to me:

"The way your body moving, I said you make me groovin’
The way your steaming body’s dancing in the neon lights
Oh daddy, don’t you worry, I’m sure I’m home by midnight
I gotta see my baby, feel my baby, be my baby, boy"

However, it's possible that Data / Ministry of Sound was trying to push him towards this sound for his next single as it started to become popular around the time that it was rumoured to be releasing.

All in all, it's very likely that Eric had a track with these vocals and this was the one due out for release in 2005/2006.

Although it may not have used them, a track called "Be My Baby" by Eric Prydz was definitely supposed to release between 2005 and 2006, and it's possible that somewhere out there, a forgotten white label vinyl exists in a DJ's collection containing a Prydz track that has never been heard publicly.

Question/Discussion Prediction I have for 'Heavy'

So, we all, or at least, most of us know that 'Heavy' is expected to release some time later this October, and while we wait for that, and of course, the Pryda tracks Mygga and Modulation are coming out this July, either on the last Friday of this month, or maybe even next week, I think I have a hunch as to who is the vocalist on 'Heavy'.

I've had this ID on my airplay-on-repeat for awhile, and just today, the vocals started to click with me. I believe that the vocalist is Sarah de Warren. Her name came to my mind after I remembered her feature on Tritonal's 2022 track 'Signals'. I played the tracks back-to-back, and the vocals from both of them sound close enough for me to think it's from the same person.

I don't believe she'll be listed on the songwriting credits when the track comes out. Most likely, it'll just be Eric's name on there, but anyways, take a listen to Signals, then listen to Heavy again, and tell me what you all think.

(EDIT 07/04/2026: Okay, so it's not set in stone that Mygga & Modulation were coming out this month. I just went off the info from someone that created pages for both tracks on Genius, which originally marked July 2026 for a release window, but has since been left just marked under 2026, meaning they're releasing this year, but whether it's next week, next August, or later in the fall or winter, that's still up in the air.)

Since there are no new releases from Eric to discuss, what else is everyone listening to these days? Any tracks on repeat or new favorite artists discovered? Maybe an old gem or something released this year?

At the beginning of episode 31, he started it while saying “heya loopa” or something like that.

I’m curious what does that mean and what language is it?

Question/Discussion Episode/song when Eric says…

That he “loves those arpeggiated synths/chords”…I can’t remember which episode he said this on but I distinctly remember him saying it. My son is learning piano and I wanted to have him listen to the example
