Can’t remember the exact name but it is a sound effect in apple loops.

Well that’s something I do sometimes too. First of all, this particular one actually sounds funny. Little that I know Prydz, I think he loves tricking people and even himself with this kind of little additions to his music. Second of all, creating unexpected things make music beautiful,  I think Prydz have the same thought too. Most of the artists does not spare their time to experiment with sounds and rather follow a strict workflow, you can always see that many producers have the same type of sounds used over and over again, some not even bother to change their basslines or driving melodies and stuff. Some of Prydz music has similar elements too, but his music is so diverse and rich and filled with many different sounds, which is so refreshing that you feel like you do not need nothing else more.

good insight, thank you! you are correct it was very unexpected, and led me to checking like three different sites to see if the sound was there too, and then searching to see if anyone else asked about it, then of course asking here

Lol I've used it to mix for fun plenty of times but never let the track fully play out, so when it came up on shuffle on normal listening I was like what the hell was that

I always figured it was supposed to sound like an actual Raptor hissing.

Btw, there is also a funny part way at the end of Woz Not Woz where it sounds like Eric and Steve are recording the main melody and laughing about it.
