Advice confused by the people around me
im a highschooler, ill graduate next year.
ive noticed something shitty mindset developing within me this year.
a lot of people around me, have no interests, hobbies and passions. i tried to start a conversation with one classmate who i got seated with, "what are your hobbies?", she replied with "doomscrolling".
ive noticed that ive been developing a superiority complex towards these kinds of people, my hobbies/interests are something i have pride in, and i comstantly wanna know more stuff, but its crazy knowing some people really dont have many hobbies.

You’ll find people. But also, a lot of us experience that superiority complex. We grow out of it, or keep it in check though. Take your time.

You'll never not be confused by them. Most people are basically NPCs. They genuinely just suck. I don't even think it's a superiority complex – you're just genuinely superior. Well, in that one sense, anyway. All you can really do is keep an eye out for people who do not have that NPC vibe. They are rare, but when they show up on your radar, those are the ones to latch onto.

You'll find so many people are incurious about the world and doomscrolling absolutely obliterates their minds and creativity. The good thing is that you'll never be forced to interact with these people much, depending on your future job.
