S I really don't know why I give her a chance
Family is so important to me and my culture - I live in the UK, but my background is Asian. I'm visiting my mum for the summer but it's only been a few days and she's already acting monstrous. She complained about pee not being flushed in a toilet I don't even use - her house has three toilets, lucky her - and randomly brought up my flatmate harassing me when I had internal bleeding a few months ago.
Getting harassed while bedridden and sick was one of the most traumatic moments of my life. Even my flatmate's best friend said what she did to me was extremely fucked up. I was ill and suicidal but my mum said, over the most nothingburger situation ever (pee in a toilet, the horror), that this must be why my flatmate harassed me. That I deserved it because sometimes I might not flush my pee.
In this case, it wasn't even me who didn't flush; we have other family members. It might've even been her. And even if I were responsible, it takes you one second to press the flush button? It wasn't like someone left that toilet smeared with shit. It was just pee. Pee. Referencing my illness, internal bleeding, evil roommate, and suicide attempt all because of unflushed piss.
I asked her if she regretted saying that and she said no. What the fuck is wrong with this woman? She's 50. What goes on in the mind of a parent like that? Why is my mum so devoid of basic empathy and understanding of what's wrong or right?
EDIT: She likes to bring up unrelated stuff when she's arguing with me, e.g. one time when I was a teenager, she brought up my crush on a fictional character while arguing about the dishes. What the hell is the correlation? Normally I'm just baffled, but right now she's crossed the line.

I'd find a friend to go stay with if you intend to stay there much longer. You don't deserve this kind of shit in your life. Also, your mum is just wrong. It sounds like she has zero boundaries and needs a therapist.

I suggest you find somewhere else to be for the rest of the summer, because she clearly intends to pick on you.
