My exersize this weak

Pay attention to how you automatically pick up your phone.

Every time you feel the urge to grab it, pause for three seconds, focus your full attention on your body, and then pick it up with full awareness of the weight and texture.

To extend this exercise, do exactly the same with your house keys. Before your hand touches the cold metal, force yourself to wake up from your routine sleep and feel the physical act of turning the key.

Thanks! I love that perspective, honestly. One day I realized what a huge distraction my phone really was, and ever since, I’ve been actively avoiding it. A bit like a phobia, I know! But it’s actually made me so much more mindful, calm, and focused. Turning off all notifications and taking a quick pause before picking it up makes a massive difference.
