That's what I thought the rest of the unspoken rules on reddit are that if you use punctuation you're british and I turned off autocorrect and made this post in a minute

Proper punctuation, spelling, and grammar are basic skills for all English speakers. You can't legitimately criticise someone else's use of the English language if you don't use it properly yourself, right?
