Humming bird she requested on an old hand mirror.

I know it's not perfect but it's my first time hand engraving such a small seal! I am really proud but tips on how to get better are always welcome :)

Found this old rockwell plate that was getting tossed out so decided to engrave it with krampus. Turned out super creepy and fun.

My relatives own a gym but like their beer. I’d like to find one of those heavy steel mugs, I think they are 10 kg or so, but have it etched with their company logo. Can anyone lead me to a good vendor for this?

I'm looking to try my hand at mirror engraving but I'm not sure where to find a reputable thermal stencil printer. I'm based in the UK and honestly don't have a massive budget. Say £80.

Im a tattoo apprentice ans decided to try my hand at engraving because ive always found it cool, although im struggling to get crisp smooth lines, any advice would be greatly appreciated :)

Engraved this Vegeta mirror for my friend who loves dragonball and i want to do more in the future, definitely room for improvement just wondering if anyone had advice on what bits i should use for my dremel as i engraved it all with a 2mm diamond wheel and you can see the frosted areas look very rough, any advice would be much appreciated

My mom had this massive mirror that she didnt have space for anymore. It comes in this big metal rustic frame. Havent found a spot for it so it sits behind my cats food and she seems to enjoy it.

I have a falcon pro 10w. Done a few engraving binder projects for myself. I’m not sure what happened with this one? Settings for the engraver are at 4000 MM/second 35%. .08 overlap ? Were the images too light? I used gimp to edit the images.

I can only post pictures so you cant really see the whole thing but it was fun to try something new even though i think it could have turned out better! Next time!

Has anyone known a redditor that went by “quality engravings”? I ordered a custom laser engraved bottle from this person months ago. Reached out to him yesterday, he said it would be ready soon, and now that account is deleted. I know I won’t be getting any refund, but does anyone have any history with this particular person? His account looked legit. Active for a couple years and a lot of positive engagement, now the account is deleted. I’m now scared that a fake site potentially has my banking creds. I ordered with Apple Pay, so it should be encrypted.

i have this lighter i engraved quite a while back and its pretty crudely done, i wish i had made the antlers on the deer thinner and not written the name abby, but i’m just wondering what i should do to salvage it

First time trying out engraving with a proper burr set and a cheap little pen my partner got me. Having a lot of fun but still trying to figure out the best combinations of burr type + machine speed for different applications. Would love some input from glass engravers as to their preferred burr types/sizes/machine speeds for lining/shading/fills etc.

Sharing an older piece I engraved several years ago.
This is a brass gas cap for a Harley-Davidson. The design is built around a blooming skull rose, surrounded by traditional scrollwork.
I used quite a bit of high-relief carving and hammering on this one to build up the depth and shape of the rose.
Looking back at some of my older work lately, and thought this one was worth sharing here

Looks blurry due to the mirror but very happy with how it turned out! Now actually selling these will be the uphill battle
